“TRUE NORTH RETREATS” AT LAKE PLACID
The Lilly Foundation has given the Church of the Nazarene $2 million to help fund the COMPASS INITIATIVE to assist pastors with strengthening their financial health. One aspect of the program is that pastors may receive up to $5,000 towards debt reduction or retirement savings at the end of the Compass Journey. The event expenses (materials, coaches, meals and housing) are covered and the only expenses for you would be the travel costs to and from the campground.
As a part of the COMPASS INITIATIVE, the Florida District is co-hosting a COMPASS True North Retreat at Lake Placid on the Southern Florida District campground on Aug. 31- Sept. 1, 2022 (English), Sept. 2 - 3, 2022 (Spanish), Sept. 4-5, 2022 (Haitian).
